I'm lucky to be alive, but the Cobra is gone

You won't believe this:

30 minutes after checking out of the Marine Corps for the last time...

1 block from my house in Jacksonville, NC....

1 day from putting the Cobra on an auto-transport and towing her home to Chicago.

THIS HAPPENED:

The Cobra gave up its life to save mine, that's forsure. Car is a total loss. Walked away with a few cuts and a little blood. 100% the other guy's fault, he was trying to beat the red light and turn left with his company Uhaul type truck..and ended up running the red light and into me. Lucky to have plenty of witnesses that wrote reports for me. So, once the dust settles we'll see what happens...very sad tonight. But still coming home to IL tomorrow, minus one Cobra
