According to info found in those links, the strut tower will NOT fit the CJ manifold.

You could probably Shim it (not my cup of tea), but it probably wouldn't fit with the stock hood anyway.

It will fit the CJ intake if you use adjustable motor mounts & lower the engine 1/2".

Im pretty sure ive seen pics of it clearing with no mods, seems to be luck of the draw.

Nope, it's strictly for the extra height you need with the Boss IM.
