I made one myself and don't have any problems. I'm guessing when your idle is really low, your IAC is closed anyway so you shouldn't notice a difference.

If you need your car tuned anyway, I would just have it adjusted in the tune.

I plan on doing a few more things before I get it tuned though. So i need a quick fix until after I can replace the leaking header, and after the new brake rotors and pads. Oh and after the stainless lines and wheel spacers. Maybe before the k member. It's gonna be an expensive summer :(

I just installed mine and it works great, it didn't change my high idle @ 1k (need to check for vacuum leaks etc. ) but it definately cured my hanging rpm's. I haven't noticed any side effects. :)

I'm using it and for about two weeks it made my car idle high at about 1400 rpm. After that for some reason it started to work perfectly. Even with the a/c on.:shrug:

I used one and it made our car idle really high and also stall. Then it would throw CEL's. We just learned to deal with it.
