Your motor should be pulling farther than where it dropped off there. Maybe the engine is unhealthy. Have you done a compression check? Are you losing oil pressure? Are you losing fuel pressure? What was your A/F through out the entire run?

the only problem i've found with the motor is that the valve covers have a tiny leak.
