yep, very nice tires - excellent grip, decent wear. also pretty pricey (in comparison to nittos, etc.)

i hate nitto 555's on my 95 cobra and they gribbed about as much as a lubed condom!
the regular 555's are pretty hard (300aa utqg). i think the road racing nittos would be perfect for you.
Mine are clutch breakers. We tried to break the Nitto's loose out in the street in front of B&D. It was all go, no spin...
I'm going to get a couple of runs on them at LACR before I strap on the ET Streets. Then they will be sitting in the truck staring at us pleading to be used...

Tetge experienced the same problem, I think the Nitto's were the final straw that put his clutch in the crapper.
