I think there's a story here... How did that happen?

BTW, did you try that liquid glass stovetop cleaner already?

No idea, lol. My GF is visiting her mom and asked me to make a post about it. I'll ask about the liquid glass stuff, thanks. Any other ideas, please keep them coming.

Is that safe to use on a kitchen glasstop stove, and if so, where do you get it?

The story: My GF was making a roasted red pepper vinagrette (recipie courtesy of my bitch, DGussin), and began by roasting the peppers over the stove burners which left some residue. Her mom's BF suggested she place foil on the burner between it and the peppers, which leaves us in the present predicament.

Thanks

A clay bar combined with some PB Blast penetrant should take it right off. The PB may take it off unto itself. I loosens just about anything on the planet and can even dissolve hardened tree sap.

Napa/most parts stores carry it. Its for busting rusty bolts, so I suppose any penetrant lube (no dirty jokes) would work.

For simplicity sake, try WD40; you can get it damn near everywhere. However its nowhere as strong as PB. Liquid Wrench would be another viable alternative as well. Anything to dissolve/soften it.
