Ok guys, lets hear it! For those of us who want to get everything out of the car i think this could be a good jump start before getting high into mods and sacrificing power mods over driver mod. What are you guys doing to lighten the load a bit? I've been really debating getting a 1 piece drive shaft this time around cuz of a certain someone tweeting in my ear about it (you know who you are ;-)) But im also looking to lighten the new car a bit more and DD it so lets hop to it

Back seat delete and removing the spare wheel out of the trunk would be the two easiest. Both of those are pulling weight off of the rear axle though.

I installed Stainless Works exhaust and saved about 40 lbs. Everyone does exhaust so if its light, why not! ;-)

there is some weight in the seats switching them out to plastic race seats could save quite a few pounds. How about the bumpers (not sure if anyone makes those yet though).

Lmao, I guess you could always just take ALL the body parts off the car ^^^

Fiberglass or CF hood would be good for a few pounds also.

Here is my weight savings, pretty easy to shed over 200#

SW Exhaust 40 Lbs
Weld RT-S 80lbs
Front Sway Delete - 20 Lbs
Alum DS - 20 lbs
Trunk shit in Brembo car - 10#
Shaker 1000 subs - 30#
Stock STB - 10#

Some Corbeau seats will save between 60-70#
Rear Seat delete - 20#
BMR K and A arms - 31lbs

There is over 300#.

Its pretty easy to shed weight of these cars without effecting quality/comfort.

Truthfully the back seat IS worth keeping to me because of the amount of increased road noise without it.

That's pretty good right there.
300lbs off of these cars will do A LOT believe it or not.

I dropped 10 lbs going from stock Boss wheels to Forgelines and Invos: -7 ea front (same size), +2 ea rear (1.5" wider). The car tipped the scales at 3680 with me in it at HRP before.
