How to identify a 03/04 Cobra short block

Build plate on the passenger valve cover. Of course, if it wasn't pulled from a car, or if the valve cover has been replaced, it wouldn't have one.
I've called FordPerformanceGroup, and they told me that:
The block will have "XW7E" casted into it meaning its a cast Iron block.
Then of course the steel crank and forged pistons, but what visibly would give that away?

The Iron block is the dead give away, and dished pistons. GT iorn blocks do not have dished pistons, and all other cobra /Mach 1 motors are aluminum.
