How old were you when you got your 1st Mustang...

First Mustang at 17. It was a maroon '90 GT. Got it in 1992. My parents told me that if I kept all A's and B's and saved up enough money from working my summer jobs and after school work they would match whatever I saved. It's amazing the amount of cash a 16/17 year old kid can amass when they don't spend a cent on anything and work everyday after school and over the summer. Saved $6k in a year and my parents kept their word and matched. So I got a 2 year old GT with 27,000 miles. Only had it a year before the insurance did me in ($2700 a year back in 1992/93 was a shit ton). Got rid of it for a used Jeep that was easier on insurance. Since then have had two more mustangs, an 04 vert terminator and a 2013 Boss 302. Currently not in a Mustang but I'm sure I'll have another one someday.

Never wanted one or saw the appeal.
Bought my first mustang at 17 which was a 1995 Cobra. Saved up from working at the grocery store and bought it cash. I remember being so excited bringing it home!

I learned how to drive in my brother's Mustang at the age of 14 or 15. I got my own Mustang at 29 or 30. I just got Mustang #4 ('17 GT350R), still have #3 ('11 GT500), and wish I still had #2 ('05 GT Premium). I don't miss #1 ('99 GT base) one bit.
I was 6 years old when my dad and I walked into Tommie Vaughn Ford, I remember driving it off the showroom floor. 10 years later he passed it down to me when we took ownership of his 99 Cobra.
The car was a black 89 GT with cloth interior and a 5 speed. It also had a red stripe around the car in the molding. Loved that car.

I was 19 when I bought mine.. Dad owned it before me ( I modded and did all the work on it back then though). Bought it off my pops.

People hound me to sell it. Good Fox bodies are scarce here.

Was 23 when I bought my 2012 GT. I remember very distinctly that feel when I sat in the driver's seat for the first time. Was amazing, because until that point I'd only been driving a 2003 Ranger 2.3L stick shift (where I had to take my shoes off to hit the gas hard enough to get up to highway speed). Everyone called it the "Baby-piss yellow" stang for the color.

First mustang was a 65 coupe when I turned 14. Daily driver duty till my early twenties. Got another 65 at 19. Since then I've owned a 96 and 98 Cobra. Still have the second 65 and my 98.
First one for me was two years ago at 34...2012 pw boss 302....now with full cobra jet setup...and I'm hooked for life!!!! Next will be a terminator!!!
