If you all think some might be in the high 30k range by end of this year I may wait on getting a new 5.0
So how long do you guys think it might take for the 2010 GT500 to get in that price range without having a shit load of miles

Can the 2011 run circles around the 2010 being lighter in the front and supposedly alil better suspension?

Depends on the circumference of mentioned circles? lol

The 2011 is alot better around the track than the 2010 is, in the hands of an experienced driver. For me, it wouldn't make a difference. If all you are going to use the car for is a street car and maybe the occassional 1/4 mile track from time to time then wait till you can get the 10.

Prolly be a while, the older ones are still in the mid-high 30's from what all my searches have turned up. Every time I think about switching my focus I end up going right back to Vettes, you just can't beat the value. LS3's can be had in the mid-low 30's right now.

Local dealer had a 1 only 2011 Corvette Pretty loaded (from my knowledge) for 40K.

Kind of an apples/oranges comparison, but I dont get the infatuation with the GT500 when new vettes are cheaper.

I have a feeling that the 2011 GT500 will help drive down the prices of all the previous models, it's just more desirable.
