How do you remove the Cobra lettering from the rear bumber of the vehicle without messing anything up?

I did not use a heat gun but I did it on a hot summer day. In the winter you will probably need a heat gun.

I used my fingernails and tons of WD-40 to remove the adhesive and spent a whole weekend getting them off.

Heat slightly and run fishing line behind the letters.

+1, this works best (put the line between the tape and bumper, very slight sawing action if necessary. very slight). Take your time and be patient and there will be little residue left behind. Good luck.

i used a hair dryer and WD-40. Worked like a champ
