Yes, it is safe for the motor. I had the DYNO tune done and all parameters went through. I also have a Fore Innovations returnless fuel system with dual Walboro pumps, and 72lb injectors along with the 3 inch Whipple pulley, and JLT 127mm big air, and the 65mm Dual Ford Racing CJ polished throttle body. Along with the AFCO radiator and the C&R dual fan Heat exchanger, with the 170 thermostat. We dialed the car back to be conservative and it runs great/ strong. Have no worries with bottom end. I would start to worry about bottom end when you go over 750 at the rears. You'll be on the edge at that point. You can't go Wong with the 2.9 Whipple or KB supercharger. I just found an insane deal on the Whipple and other parts the person was selling as a package deal. Either supercharger when you want to get into it will put a smile so big on your face.Believe it or not if you take your time look, and wait for the deals you can do allot with your budget.
