Homestead '05 GT Nextel Pace Car, and others (pics)

this was a ford sponsored event in downtown fort lauderdale. this is it's second year, basically i guess to get people hyped about the homestead race this weekend. some nascar drivers (mark martin, dale jarrett, others) were signing autographs and such.

haha, that's the pacecar that I saw being driven down there like a month ago and posted about. I was driving south out of knoxville, tn and saw it in the distance, flew up to check it out and it still had michigan manufacturer plates and all. It was rather impressive in person, I gave the dude a thumbs up and went on my way.
Thanks for the pics. I'm looking forward to the race on Sunday. My only hope is that Busch LOSES the championship. I'll settle for Gordon, Dale Jr. or Johnson.
