Id be guessing 500-530 depending on alot of variables. Your safe with that combo as long as you have the fuel system to back up the power.

That motor at part throttle is going to be really strong as well.

From what Ive read the walbro 255s are rated for about 550 on gas, so less about 30-33% of that for E-85. So you would need two pumps to get over 500rwhp.

Also if you do go to a two pump setup you would need a 40amp BAP. A 20amp BAP is only good for one pump.

Most eaton swapped Cobras & Mach 1s are putting down around 450 whp at 8 psi with 9.8:1 CR and ~17* timing on 93.

So I would think 11:1 with E85 at 9 psi with more timing would be around 550.

i think i should be ok with just two walbro pump's. cause 33% of 550 is around 380. if my math is correct, two pumps should do a little over 700rwhp on e85??

Have you looked through the distillery? They probably have the info you need about your fuel system.

Math fail..1/3 of 550 is 181.5.....550 * .33333(1/3) = 181.5

550 * .66666(2/3) = 366.66....

Just thought I would let you know........

Actually man, you have a math fail. You are on the right track, but you left out a step. If the pump is rated at lets say 550 in this case. 33% of 550 is 181.5 and that you are correct about. But, you would then need to take the 550 and subtract the 181.5 and that will give you the new rating on the pump with E85. So that will put him at 368.5 per pump.

I mean, if we are getting technical. LOL, just playin around man.

Pretty much the same setup as me OP. I pegged my maf at 5600rpms were i was making 9.5psi. It made 515rwhp and 505tq at 5600rpms with only 18° timing and still rich. Power never fell off either, it was still climbing when the maf pegged.

Yea. Did you see were I said roughly. All math was done in my head late as he'll. Anyways would my 77mm mass air merger support the power? I have a guy that tunes the car. Whats your opinion?

Wrong, Machs have 10.1:1 compression ratio. 99/01s i believe have the 9.8:1. just a correction though.

Op you will definately need twins in the tank and upgrade to a higher flow for the injectors. 60-80 would be sufficent Im sure. Watch your fuel pump duty cycle as well.

If you want to get technical the 99/01 Cobras have 9.85:1 Compression. ;-)

i picked up a Procharger red race (open) BOV. i dont know much about were to mount it, and i have also been getting confused on mass air meter stuff. what do i have to change to the kit for me to run this open BOV, and also i didnt get a mass air meter with the kit.
does the mass air come off the intercooler?

If u want to run open bypass the mass air meter has to be set up as blow thru. Mount it in the intercooler piping someplace between the intercooler and throttle body. It must be mounted in a piece of pipe with about 8" of straight pipe before the mass air meter. If u don't have the meter yet buy a slot style like an sct ba5000.

I wouldn't use a 77mm MAF. It'll peg really quick. You can get the meter and tube from a place like VMP.
