Hennessey Viper vs 2.4 KB Cams 04 Cobra

Ok I have a guy in my area who wants to run. All I know about his car is its A Hennessey Viper and it makes 625 at the wheels. My car- 04 2.4 KB stage 3 cams tube k member coilovers 637rwhp(STD) on 18lbs boost (can tune) with no cool down. Im trying to get more details on his car (this is a friend of a friend). He told my friend that it has gone 206mph. Does anybody know if Hennessey makes diff packages? We have worked out no details yet any suggestions? My car has been 11.07 at 135.6 mph with a 1.86 60 ft (worn out DR). Thanks Viper is a 1999 NA with the 850 package

yup....those hennessey's are insane. better up your boost, get nitrous and get a really damn good tune and lighten your car up a good bit.

Why? 625 rwhp vs 637rwhp. The weight is close. I dont think it is one of the turbo models? Also the guy is BIG 100lbs more than me. Seems like it should be a good race??

No money just fun. Just wondering how this car is so much faster then mine. Curb weight on a new viper is 3410. Not sure what year this car is yet.

Just got a call. The car is a 1999 with a 850 kit? Time to do a little research.

Looks like the 1999 is about 3300lbs and the 850 package is NA. Maybe I will throw the small pulley on and a race tune/ gas for the run. Should be fun win or lose.

I WANT VIDEO!! i think this race could be determind by the driver. just go from a dig and try to get a holeshot. I raced a stock viper with my cobra stock and DR's from a dig and beat him til about 130 i had 5 cars on him from the start and he couldn't catch up til that speed, and the car was much faster than mine. if you worry about winning take your seats and spare out for the race lol.

With a good 60 ft and track prep. Car is lowered and does not get any weight transfer.
