Looking for some advice on removing a pully from a Kenne bell blower. I have the removal tool, and removed one previously using my Milwaukee Impact, but for some reason I can not get this current bolt to bulge?

Is it a steel KB pulley? I've heard horror stories about aluminum pullies welding onto the snout. I use my impact to remove mine, I only snug them by hand, but they always tighten up from driving them.

Best bet is to start the car and let the car warm up and then try it. I do not recommend using a torch or anything for heat, there are plastic gears that drive the snout.

Its a Reichard Racing pully, with new 10mm bolt, only been on for a couple of months. I wouldn't use a torch either. I didn't want to use a cheater bar in fear of damaging the snout, but I may call a friend over tomorrow and have him balance the tool while I crank on it in a attempt to break loose? I replaced the pully a few months back took a little persuasion but nothing like this.

If you need heat don't use a torch, get an actual heat gun or use your girls hair dryer in high. Don't get to close to it but you'll have no problem getting it warm enough to help.

Another trick is to put a soldering iron tip on just the bolt to concentrate the heat. I'd warm the pulley and bolt up first with heat gun though or you'll be there all day.
