I hope someone can help me. I installed new chain guides and adjusters and secondary adjusters, because she was at 160 k mileage. When I started it up it has a ticking noise that sounds like chain slap or lash adjuster. Why would it do this after the new parts install when before there was no sound at all. Yes it has a ford oil filter, and I timed it correctly. Please help I am without a car.
Thanks Woody
BTW: it has been sitting for a long time in my garage. my GT just died, I need to get this fixed. Thanks again
Woody

Maybe he was banned for 30 days and can't respond.
No one will laugh or have a negative comment towards the response right?
Everyone has done something to their car mods, service and cleaning they wished they haven't.

We all learned somehow. I managed to strip a hole when I was resealing my diff a couple weeks ago. After some expletives I went and picked up a helicoil set.

Nope, he was on at 7 his morning. I agree, it might have been something easy or stupid. No biggie, we've all been there if you work on your own stuff.
