And to think I used to record music with cassette players/recorders when I was a kid to adding MP3s on a flash drive and playing them in the car.

Crazy to think downloading MP3's and putting them on devices is a thing of the past as well haha

It has its pro's and con's Glenn. If you're actually concerned about what your small child hears you find out a lot of songs have some inappropriate language and themes for your kid lol. Many songs I've heard but never bothered to pay attention to exactly what they're saying but my daughter will often ask me "what are they talking about dad?" This has caused me to really focus on the lyrics and themes of some of these songs. Sometimes it requires some good footwork to tip toe around some of the subjects when explaining it to her.
Man, you got that right Mike. When I was a 22 year old father my 3 year old would sing along with the songs I would play. I learned real quick to make sure the songs were appropriate when she started singing along to Accepts "Balls to the Wall." LMAO!!! Needless to say her mother gave me a lecture as well LMAO!!!

Go to tower records. Not the website. The brick and mortar.
I beg to differ.

I mean more along the lines of sourcing music from YT videos. They are just about as compressed as it gets.

But yeah, quality speakers/amps/preamps/record player/CD player etc gets expensive for sure.
I only play downloaded YT music through $50 shit speakers in my shit box jeep. Couldn't give 2 shits less about quality and compression.

It's like downloading porn except its music.

Don't even start with "I don't download porn"...

I've been getting into home theater stuff. It's surprising how expensive it is to have something not even average or close to being high end. I'm north of $5K and I'm not $5k impressed.

Audiophiles are another breed.

Might as well just play the music directly from your speaker phone instead and save yourself time from downloading stuff.

Im not crazy huge on audio but there's quite a difference streaming a song thru bluetooth vs playing it from a CD. Hi-Fi streaming practically closed that gap.

Just use any "youtubetomp3" style site and grab the link from YouTube, copy it in, and go. And don't click on pop-ups or ads or anything but the correct button. Then drag/drop it to the watch.

I still download mp3 to my phone direct from YouTube as I enjoy my own library still or having quick instant access to a particular song.
