I removed my blower yesterday and i noticed the lower intake pan has a hose that connects to a t fitting and one side routes to the drivers valve cover and the other i believe the intake. i bought breathers for the valve covers and want to remove the vac lines but not sure what to do with the lower intake hose?
any ideas?

You pull the blower hose off and either put a cap on the fitting in the intake or pull the fitting out and put a plug in it.

Go to home depot and get a 3/8 npt plug, remove the fitting on the lower intake, get blue Loctite apply to plug and screw it on the lower manifold.. Don't forget to cover the back part of the S/C

Why are you eliminating the PCV system?

Do you know what it is and how it works?

Do you know why it is on there?

If the answer to any of the above questions is no, I suggest you do a little research before ditch it.

All engines have a certain amount of blow by past the rings. Hurt engines have lots of blow by. That stuff has to be able to go somewhere. If you just vent to the engine bay you may have more oil vapor getting on your valve covers.

I don't like the vents alone. I like a vac-u-pan, or a catch can with drain back and vent, or a normal PCV with oil catches.

On road race and drag cars I like what's on the Cobra Jets and Boss302 S and R.

Mine is stock with (2)JLT prefilters.
