The best things to have when doing bolt on's is the ability to collect data. Again, a wideband is very beneficial. It would also be beneficial to have the ability to datalog. These things can help you determine what is really going on. You really have nothing at all to go off of other than assumptions without either of these tools when modding your car.
Your MAF may not have like how you had it positioned with the bolt on's which you could've seen via data logging as an example. Data logging is a powerful tool that everyone should use, especially on boosted applications. I know, your car is not boosted.
