Hello..

I just bought a 03 cobra with a bad motor which is nothing new I enjoy the project. But there looks to be some things off. For instance after pulling the motor and taking the supercharger off theres a W stamped on top of the block under the intake and on the side of the motor.. Can anyone tell me what kind of block this is? Also the heads don't look right has part #RFYL7E6C064AB? Just looks fishy to me. I hope someone can help, Thanks!

Those heads sound like they are truck castings, and the "W" would designate the block as a WAP. Easy enough to figure out, especially if it's aluminum. The Terminator iron blocks are actually Romeo blocks with some tweaks.

Everything you need to know:

If those were '01 Cobra heads, the engineering number on them would start with YR3E6C064...

The "L7" in the casting number identifies them from the Lincoln truck program.
