You don't have to 100% but to get the full benefit yes you would have to.

Short trims will most likely change. Get it checked or risk damage.

OP what numbers did you make with the RAI, 649? I think after seeing some problems that members have had with the sct2600 and the HB intake, I may just buy the JLT CAI in favor of my RAI.

Yea, 649ish with the RAI and BA2600. When it was getting tuned the 2600 was being a pain in the butt the first few pulls but he got it straightened out. If I had it to do over, I just would have went with the MAFIA. The only reason I was inquiring about the HB was because I seen one pretty cheap for sale. My tuner is 4hrs away and I don't like email tune revisions so I'll hold off.

You need a retune if you change the housing size of any MAF sensor. The HB intake tube is even more touchy since it has 2 bends before the sensor.

That's some damn good numbers with the RAI! Do you have the GT500 plenum/TB? What pulley on the tvs?

you will need your tune changed. Not much, but it will need tweeking. What RAI is it? Gen 1 or Gen 2? I'm looking to trade my HB Gen 2 for a RAI if you're interested.
