What damper should i use when i have my rotating assembly re-balanced? I have a March sfi damper and the stock cobra. My engine builder said either one since he will balance everything . I have read the sticky about dampers but i dont want to spin the motor past 6800-7 so the stock one sounds to be the best.

The power adder adds further stress to the crank so I would be tempted to upgrade, but the stock unit sounds like the best of the two that you have.

oh so its not if everything is balanced it has to do w/ the diameter? Yeah i have the 1158 march fluid sfi damper its about 1" smaller than stock ..Guess i will be using the stock damper

Yes, it's the diameter that is key. As far as the March damper, I'm not aware of any failures with that unit. Doesnt mean there hasnt been any but it's not like the other small dampers on the market that have had numerous problems. Your decision to go with the stock unit is best. An ATI would be even better.
