Has NE1 used a KB dual BAP on two 465lph pumps?

I can't imagine it would be a problem. I'm currently running 2 465lph pumps on E85 in a return system. They're in a dual hat so upgrading to triple pumps isn't as easy as just running a BAP, not to mention the other cons of 3 pumps.

1000-1050whp is the goal.

What hp are you running out of fuel with your dual 465s?

I haven't really found that out. I was at 704 with the stock Coyote Longblock at 9psi/On3 turbo's, not sure where I'm at right now on the same boost with Boss heads/Intake/CJ Cams/Billet PTE 62's.

I'll be turning up the boost to 18 or so, I know the 2 465's won't cover that.

I'm running a JT / Alum combo on 17 psi at 780rw also with twin 465's and Daniel at TSS said if I want to pulley down any further I'll need another pump as well. This is an interesting question you've posed about the BAP, I wonder if it's possible without popping fuses all the time

I don't run a dual BAP, but I run a 40a KB BAP on a hobbs switch that turns on one of my 465's. Works fine.

465s are fairly serious pumps and two should be capable of easily getting you to 1000hp on e85 and 1300hp on say MS109.

With stock rails/feed and big injectors (ID2000s) Sai's dual 465 setup has pushed 950rwhp on E85.

If you're running out of fuel on a centri car at under 800rwhp, there's another problem.

I guess it's just tuner preference, he mentioned it when I picked the car back up. It's a full return and ID1000's as well so not seeing what could be holding it back.

imo, a triple setup for 1000rwhp is what you really want.

you can always add a bap, but thats really pushing it

I almost guarantee that his problem is not related to dual 465s at 1000rwhp, but much more likely with the ID1000s running out on E85. 3 465s support way more than 1000rwhp but the ID1000s fall short on e85.

Forget the BAP, forget the pump upgrade, you need more injector.
Email Tony over at Injector Dynamics to be sure.

I have to agree here. The pumps are good for 1000 on E85, especially with having a complete return system, but 1000cc injectors are too small. It's pretty easy to tell if you are out of pump if you have a gauge on the car. If you see pressure dropping as RPM/power goes up, then it's a supply issue. If pressure is solid, you should be able to log injector duty cycle and see that it's near max. With that said, we already know 1000cc injectors will need to be replaced approaching quadruple digits on ethanol.

we have made 1000 on the 1000s before, but they are right on the edge, especially with e85 i would lean towards 1300s or 1700s, depending on how far you are planning to go
