First of all, sorry for the loss of your beloved horse. Every time I see one of these threads, I say to myself, "don't go there", because it always gets to me. Over the years I've had the extreme pleasure of living with and caring for eight animals that were great companions. The last one passed over the Rainbow Bridge four years ago. I can't do this anymore but if you're young, you should, there is nothing better than caring for an animal and the joy and love you receive in return. Best wishes to you going forward.
