Had the car out Sunday

I know there are guys in here than frown on street racing . I havnt raced in 10 years and decided to meet up with some friends Sunday and in the end decided to see what the car could do. This was my first time running the car since i got it done. First race was against a friends heads and cam z06. First race tires went up in smoke lol second race he got out cause I couldn't get it to hook but started chasing him down lost by a car which him and the other vette guys were impressed considering he got out 3 cars on me. Third race was against a friends GT500 which went 10.90 @ 128. Car didnt want to hook in first or second but got it to finally hook top of second and drove around him. So far very happy with how the car runs. Need to do some more logging to get the tune adjusted some more. Rough Specs on the car

GEN 1 VMP around 24psi
FORE return fuel system
ID1000 Injectors
Built auto
Built 8.8

Daaamn.. you couldn't hook with the Mickey Ts? Smoky burn out look bad ass. That thing started pulling hard once it hooked. Are you on E85, what kind of power you making with that combo?

Had to get them pretty hot and still was having issues. Yes the car is on E85. Not sure on power I have only street tuned the car to date.

LMAO!!! Yeah, my brother taught me a few lessons over the years. Back in the day my brother had a Chevy small block (350) on nitrous. I seen a Torino with a 460 big block and it sounded mean as hell. I told my brother there was no way he could beat that Torino. He said watch this and commenced to whooping that big block Torino.

After the race he said it does not matter how bad@$$ your car sounds it maters how fast it is LMAO!!! Never judged a car by the way it sounded after that.
