Thanks for the reply. I will remove the top isolator from the rears. I might use the heater hose trick but if "fromgttosvt is correct his statement about "no noise" by removing the top rear isolators I will try it that way first.

so how did it come out? I am about to order H&R race springs part number 51659-88 for my 04 cobra convertible. I want to be sure they actually fit without issues and the car is level after installation.

I had them with all isolators in and loved how the car sat. Only thing I didn't like was the much stiffer ride due to the higher than stock spring rate. Especially noticeable with a convertible (even with FLSFCs). Next time I'll just cut the stockers and not sacrifice the ride quality.
