why would there be ls1 guts everywhere? ls1 bottom ends are pretty damn stout and would definately be able to hold a 100shot......
Not saying it wont hold, just for how long? Good luck on the race though.

If you have a way to do it, advance the timing so much you need to run race gas, that might help.

Yea 5-10rwhp.

The c5 will win with 480rwhp sae. I think you'll be there or extremly close with that H/C combo too. Does the G5X4 clear with the added 11 degree vavle clearance from the ETP heads?

Will all that stuff, cam and heads really put you at 470-480rwhp on a stock inch LS1? That cam has to be giving up mad low-end to be giving you that much hp up top. His 427 is gonna have a much fatter tq curve, peak numbers are bad to compare. His 450-460rwhp/450rwtq is going to pull just as hard as your 470rwhp/410-420rwtq(guessing here)

Either way if you lose you are still going to have one stout NA LS1. I have similar numbers to a stock 06 Z06, but I would get rolled so hard it wouldn't even be funny.

Friend of mine (Lankhoss) has a bone stock C6 Z06 and has run another friend of ours with a '04 H/C Z06 with 455 RWHP and the race is absolutely DEAD even, every time from every speed.

If you can manage 470-480, then you will edge out the C6 Z by about a half car to a car.
