H/C 427 convertible vs. whipped 2011 gt500

Ran a buddies 2011 gt500 the other night. He was nice enough to run me on his 93 tune. He has 2.9 whipple, headers, and other mods making around 750rwhp.

Vette indeed sounds superb. One day I'll have a C6Z....they are just too sick. The Vert must be tit with that motor in it. Drop the top and listen to that bad boy scream.

MMM I don't get it, I raced a stock C6 z06 not to long ago and was ahead by a car and growing and I only have 642hp and 650tq, something is not right with that gt500 or it's not making the power there saying.

My bad I see it has heads and other stuff, it makes sense.

not really when i could only put about half a car to a car on a h/c c6 z and im only 650/600:shrug:

You're running ethanol vs his 91 octane. Apples to oranges man. Ethanol is huge for FI.

The GT500 was on toyos r55s or whatever type tire thats good from toyo. he didn't complain of any traction issues that night so they must have been hooking up.
