guys who did your own IMRC Deletes. quick question/help needed

How did ya'll close the holes up? jb weld, welding them? apparently the welder for the shop it's at "doesn't have time" or some other dumb excuse so now i either have to find a place to weld them, which i have no idea of anyone, or i've seen that people have used jb weld but i'm iffy on that.

I know i'm asking a lot for a forum but some quick answers would be great as im on my was to pick it up now.

Here is an option.
I unscrewd the plates from my rods and left the rods in place,
i did not want to take chance of somthing leting loose.

I used JB weld Industro. Has a head threshold of over 550*F. I did mine over 10yrs ago and they are still holding up just fine.

JB weld is fine if you prep the holes properly. Don't bother filling the hole between the oval,square port of the same cylinder.
