Hey Guys. Purchased my first holster. I really like it but the gun fits super tight. Tough to get it out. It snaps in really good. I tried wrapping the gun in a plastic bag and putting it in the holster for periods of time. Didnt really do much. I loosed that bottom left screw, again didnt do much. Gun is a SW M&P 9 and holster is for that gun. Any tips?
Loosen the screw by the trigger guard it will release tension

hydex. had a pic but it didnt post. added the pic right after you posted above.
Thats the retention screw all right, try going a little more until you get it right or just take it out all together. If its still too tight with it out you may have an issue, check and make sure it follows the contours of your gun. Could be a mold issue but Kydex will get slightly easier with use so just keep adjusting.

its pretty much perfect along the gun. gonna try to loosen the upper left screw a bit per Corbic suggestion.

How tight? With kydex it should snap in and out almost like a lego. It should not fall out if you hold the holster upside down.

Wax paper/plastic bag trick is for leather not kydex.
It def snaps in. id say its too tight. ill try to loosen the top left screw a bit. My EDC belt is coming in wednesday so i get a better idea when its all together, but i just tried it on my regular belt just for fun. its just too tight. i know it should be a little tight as not to come out and should click in. but it takes quite a bit of effort to get it out.

Do you break the gun down and take it to them or do they break it down? I know a guy that's interested in having some guns coated.

Curious about what they spend 2 hours teaching about optics on that. Care to share a bit?

Sure.

Zero in the red dot
Find the red dot even when the optics are covered
Locating the red dot after recoil
Locating the red dot from one target to another
Locating the red dot after a magazine change

Nothing super advanced, but I felt the course was worth the 2 hours and $75/fee. I went thought about 75 rounds during the 2 hours.
