Got her home today, CZ Shadow2 Compact. Not sure if I will red dot her or not. The iron sights are amazing and similar to my Beretta 92X. Wouldn't hurt though!
Which frame is that? I wanted to get one for my p80 build but was told it wouldn't work. The China lower parts kit trigger I currently have leaves a lot to be desired
Probably one day this week. Had every intention of shooting it when I picked it up, Then the background check took an hour and I ran into a coworker at Palmetto State Armory and we started talking. I think my 507c red dot on my SS will fit it and I ordered the plate already.When are you shooting it?!?!

We were Bsing when I was waiting. We both work together and needed to get to work. He shoots and calls ranges and way more into it than I. He was pretty interested in it as well.

Yeah I def want to try iron first. The iron on this gun is similiar to my Beretta 92X which I love and shoot VERY well with.

I GUARANTEE you that your Beretta will lose its luster compared to that CZ… lol. I think I remember you saying that your Beretta was your favorite handgun….
I like the iron sight setup on your Beretta. I can see why you like it, maybe more than a red dot.

Honestly i like irons better...i like the ned dot on my sig320xc but i like irons better on my other handguns

Just got back from the range, Palmetto State Armory in Summerville. I took both the CZ Shadow2 Compact and my Beretta 92X. First target I did 5, 7 and 10 yards with each on one side. CZ left and X on the right. Second target is CZ at 7 yards with remaining rounds I had. The CZ is out of the box absolutely amazing no doubt. LOVE <3 Pretty much sighted in for me perfectly. The Beretta I'm shooting low but has the adjustable up, down, left and right on the rear sight. I tried to adjust but couldn't get the sight to move so wanted to research it first. Out of the two the X is a better range gun than the CZ, but barely. It is a full size and there is a little bit more weight there which helps. The trigger is better on the Beretta no doubt. Sight acquisition after the shot goes to the Beretta. The CZ will be an amazing carry without a doubt....much better than any of my H&K's. I can only image what a full size CZ will do at a range with a good red dot. Two amazing weapons, money well spent.When are you shooting it?!?!
