Gf watched a bear documentary, got scared (said she won't go camping anymore). I went to the store, bought a 12G= happy girlfriend. Not really gun porn but its my first 12" 12G and the action is pretty smooth for a $200 gun so I'm happy

Bear movies scare me too. The bear from Backcountry made me want a bigger gun than 10mm. That was only a black bear. I can't imagine dealing with a big grizzly. I think I wouldn't be comfortable walking around the woods with them unless I was in a tank. They say that once those big grizzly bears get some adrenaline pumping they can withstand multiple shots from high cal rifles.

Finish wise, it closely resembles the Elite Ti. At least in the photo. Nice!

What's funny Bob is that even Sig can't seem to decide what to call it.. their web site says "stealth grey" (as I had mentioned), a Sig produced video I saw said they "elite ti" (as you mentioned), and the UPC code sticker on the Sig cardboard box that the rifle came it says "elite concrete finish".... go figure ;), all I know is in person it's a sexy beast! haha

Ha yea, ive had two standoffs with black bears now and an indirect shot scared it off both times. Used to have a weatherby with 19" barrel (was terrible). I do NOT want to find out how a grizzly would react.. I wouldn't be confident in a 3" magnum slug stopping it but im not sure.

Surely now we will all be safe. Morons.

Thus is why I stopped smoking weed til I retire. That shit makes you do and say some stupid shit. Two cities you couldn't pay me to go to are Denver and Portland. I would rather live in Chicago than visit either of those places. Even though Chi Town is over run with Dems and crime, most of the people there are sane...
Denver was okay until the mass influx of Californians over the last ten years, now they're pushing all the same crap ideas and rules that cased them to flee in the first place.

I have four glocks now and I’m done for the year.
You know it's only February, right? lol

Does anyone here have a Canik? Was looking at a TP9SFx, great deal for the money, but have not heard a lot about them. Before committing, wanted to see if anyone has experience with them. Thanks.

My gun year starts in October and ends in may with the start of boating season.

But I said I was done 4 guns ago. This time I’m done.

Yes. My Dad has the regular TP9. Unbelievable deal and quality for the money. I will put it to you this way, he had this gun and the H&K VP9. He sold the VP9 and kept the Canik. The trigger is almost identical. The sfx version is their competition model. I have shot it as well. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Went to the gun show today just to look at things. My wife decided to tag along. I've been wanting a .380 for easy pocket carry. The guy showed her a M&P Bodyguard with a laser, and like a cat she was hooked. She turned and said, "you need to buy this!". I have a feeling since she wants to go to the range and try it that I may end up looking for something for me again. She hasn't wanted to try my Shield 9mm, and preferred her Ruger Lite 22.
