I went there to possibly buy tye SIG MCX which my friend was buying as well. I checked his out for a minute and was not impressed by the least. He should have got the pistol variant if anything but he wanted the rifle. It just doesn't feel like it is worth the money at all.

I'm mixed up on the names. It's the MPX I didnt like that my friend bought. He bought the rifle version though which I just didn't have any interest in. I would probably like it in the pistol version but they didn't have any there.

A few months back, I let my buddy Keven and his son try out my MPX. You can tell when Kevin is using it, with a proper strap, you can make it very stable without a stock.

That looks completely different than the rifle variant, and I mean much better in that that looks like the configuration it was meant for. What is yours chambered in? Looks like 9mm mags in it?

I highly recommend it. It eats any ammo I through at it, it's very light even with a 30 round mag in it, and it's very accurate. I have my laser zero set to 30 feet and actually have my sights zero at 100 yards. It holds a nice 3 minute group on the bipod and with the strap.

All in all, I think it's a great short range weapon that I feel I can trust to save my life if needed.

You guys can't go wrong with an Evo Scorpion either. I love mine!

Yep.. Have one of those too. Had to ditch the factory ambi safety before I could use it though. I couldn't fire it without the selector brusing my hand.

Have to say though, there is a noticeable difference between the two... And there should be, given the Evo is half the price of the MPX.

This is with the factory switch.

This is after I changed the selector.

I was looking at the Scorpion as well. Everything is on the table for consideration basically.

I think I might head over again today and throw down for a Silencerco 7.62 Saker suppressor unless there are better recommendations?

I don't have it yet and have never shot through it...but I went with a Rugged Surge 7.62. The reviews on it are phenomenal and its lifetime warranty sounds good.

I'll have to look it up. Im only looking at what Rainier Arms has because they are so close so it is convenient but I would like to get what is best. Thing with suppressors is that they are all relatively the same. One of the best or quietest I think I have shot through was the Knights Armament suppressors that issued to us but the difference is so miniscule among the more known brands.
