that trap is only a mile or 2 away from what your average Terminator traps.. not that impressed, nor am I impressed with the 0-60 since I've got 4.7 (using Beltronics Vector FX1) in my stock 03 Cobra..

The average, stock '03/'04 does not trap 113-114mph.
More like 110-111mph.

Wow, 115 is really high. Goes to show you whoever was driving that car wasn't driving it to its full potential. Must have been spinning the tires through the whole launch.

The GT500 seems a little faster than the terminator but for the price it does not look worth it. I mean come on, the times that the GT500 is geting with 500HP is not good enough. :nonono: I just hope that these cars rin much better times once they break in.

How much are they going to sell them for? Dealers are probably going to try and make money off of them as well like they did when the 05 mustang gt's first came out

Everyone is forgetting though that with probably a grand or 2 in mods, this thing will be AWSOME. It just needs a tune to rid of the tbw and some WIDDER meats out back and it will hook and ***in haul ass!

Spend 40k for a car and still have to mod it, what a waste. :bash:

how many people here wouldnt mod it? i dont think you should have to to get the performance it should have but even if it had that performance im betting the vast majority from here would mod it. so its not like thats that good of a retort. get rid of the ETC and the thing will haul.

Vette/Z06, Viper, Ford GT, etc. owners don't modify their cars? I guess anyone that disables the skip shift in their Chevy should hang their head in shame as well?

What happened to the 0-60 in 4.1? Can't it match the M6 in performance? I know the M6 is a V10, but the GT500 has more torque at the same weight.

Don't judge this car yet...

that is exactly why the M6 accelerates harder. Actually there are a few reason. 1) is the torque makes it hard for lil ole' 285's to hook up. 2) the SMG trans takes all variables out of the driving coupled with BMW's launch control. 3) magazine drivers suck at driving high HP cars with a manual trans.

Absolutely!!Its been the story with most of these mag drivers,...coming to hard off the line spinning the cr*p out of the rear tires, loosing valuable time, and not speed shifting! Can't wait to see cars potential in the hands of a capable driver, expect to see under 12.5 stock, consistently! ;-) With mods, sky's the limit,..especially with the ones I'm doing!

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that this mph is about right.....imo we're going to be seeing alot of 114-115s out of this car, not a huge improvement of 03/04, but still one nonetheless.......114-115s are good for a 450 hp mustang....but not a 500 hp one, imo.

getting a high mph means you're driving poorly? :nono:

the launch/0-60 and e.t. are high, however.....traction related I'm sure.

--that skidpad is also waaaaay higher that any other test we've seen
