I know... They said in the mag that this program is extremely accurate, but they weren't able to input every variable into the program so these numbers are not correct, but it should not be way off.

Hmmm....so it runs dead even with a Ford GT, yet weighs 400-500lbs more, is far less aerodynamic, no twin screw blower, no dry sump oiling system, smaller tires, etc.

Riiiiiiiiiiight :-D

Just joking too as this thread is a joke.

128mph is not even in the realm of plausability.

Lets see..
My Vorteched 94 used to run 125 -126 mph in the 1/4, consistently.. OVer and over again..
It ranged between 500-520 rwhp on a dynojet, depending on the air.

My 94' weighed 3350 pounds..
The GT500 will weigh 3950 pounds.

So...And this is just an eduated guess...
To pick up an additional 2mph, one would would need aproxmiately another 30rwhp, but thats if the wieghts were equal.. Throw in another 600 pounds, and you are probably looking at 600-630 rwhp to run 128mph.

Now, if Ford were to rate 600-630 rwhp from the factory, with their typical SEA net ratings, knowing \Ford, they would underate a little.. But they would still rate it at, at least.. 650hp-700hp.

LOL, its funny to even think about it.. This thread is S-T-U-P-I-D :bash:

Why stop at 650-700hp??? Where's the fun in that? .. Why not take it up to a THOUSAND horsepower, and lets guess what the mph would be?? Im thinking like, 150mph, :burnout:

like people have said mid 11's is Z06 and GT territory. not sure how they came up with that. if its true then buyers should be messing themselves right now.

128mph, maybe accurate ... in a vacuum, and with reduced gravity ... say, on the moon.

With basic figures and calculations the GT500 falling from 10,000 feet will be traveling at 225 ft per second, or 150 mph (roughly) when it hits the ground. Or if dropped a quarter mile it would reach a speed of about 135.7248787 repeating when it hit the ground. Not bad really. If I knew the exact weight and drag coefficient I could tell you more precisely.

This is using my 04 DCF. At least what I think it is. And assuming that it doesn't tumble, but fall plumb to the ground nose first.
