I have decided to sell my personal 03 GR40 Cobra to fund the build of a new body style S197. The car was built by Performance Autosport.
Our shop has been building a lot of new S197 cars and I need a new platform to demo the Super street Griggs S197 chassis kit, I cant keep both so this is the car I am regretfully selling.
This was a fun weekend car to demo our shop products and skills. It drives smoother than a stock Cobra and pulls well over 1G in the corners. It can be driven daily or tracked on the weekends. It is impossible to explain how well this car works. It does everything correctly. It is not a drag car but it could be converted to run at the Drag strip with minor spring changes.
The car has never been abused and has been waxed with Zymol more than driven. Car also includes a custom cover.

2003 Dark Shadow Gray with Clear bra protection the interior is a custom Grey/black Recaros, The car has 5000 miles on it and is stored in our showroom. The car had 1300 miles when purchased two years ago. No expense was spared when building this car. If it does not sell we will display it at the 45th Mustang Show in Alabama.

mark i love ur new wheels man! i cant believe ur gonna sell this car! guys i can tell u from first hand experience this car is as clean as it is well built. its got too be in my opinion the most well put together and clean terminator ive ever seen. not too mention the fact the car works better than anything out there right now! say bye bye to all vettes and whatever else that may try too hang in the twisty's! mark is a very professional businessman and whatever he may tell u, you can count on it as good as gold. iam soooooo jealous to whoever may get this car. i think he has pictures with the stock black wheels too if somebody wanted too take money off for the true forged wheels although they look killer. sorry too see u selling mark. good luck with the sale and i cant wait too finish my front gr40 setup now that the back is done!

Very nice ride, good luck with the sale. One question; shouldn't you be putting some more HP to the wheels? I don't see a lot of motor mods listed, but with the big injectors and MAF I'd think you'd have some other engine mods and be putting down bigger numbers.

its worth every penny trust me! i only have the same rear set up he has right now. its hard too explain how good they handle when u have the whole package. i think mark may have like 47,000 in the car if iam not mistaken. clean as a whistle!!!!!! i wont just say that about anybodys car cause iam like OCD with mine. not just track car eithier , very easily a daily driver if u wanted it too be. perfectly reliable in every way that i can think. the only thing i can say is the coilovers ride just a tad rough. these setup's are nothing short of amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

It depends on what exhaust you decided to use. Most fit perfectly on one side and the other tail pipe needs minor mods to clear.
As far as power ,the combo has made as much as 470 at the tire but we wanted it as safe as possible.Remember on a road coarse you are out on track for 20 min at a time at full boost for all but the corners. Regardless of the coolers the car still builds heat.
So by lowering the power the car stays more consistent on the track and street.

Plus things happen very fast on the track with only 440 RWHP. The other thing is that power is nothing if it wont transfer to the ground properly,so a car with Griggs requires less power and will be faster on the track and street thru the twisty s than an over powered car with out a proper set up.
All I can say is it is pleanty fast for me,I have enough trouble keeping my driving record clean.

This car is gorgeous. I had the chance to meet Mark and take a look at his car collection this past summer. My only regret is not coming down again to get a better look at the car, on the road.

Best of luck selling the beast, and in your new endeavor building an s197.

No never did a sound clip but I love the sound. The car originally had Kooks long tubes with Cat h pipe and flomasters.
I hated the drone and the long tubes kept hitting the speed bumps and man hole covers. We are a JBA dealer and they gave us an exhaust kit to try out. I would use it again. I love the fact it sounds great when cruising around but on the highway it is quiet.
