Well I got it into the 9s guys! Drove it 75 miles there, made three passes (10.06 @ 139, 10.34@136, and 9.96 @ 139), didn't blow up, then drove 75 miles home!

That's awesome. I'm surprised they let you keep racing with no cage (at least I didn't see one)
Yea me too. LOL. It went 10.06 it's first pass, they didn't bat an eye, so I knew I had a chance before getting the boot!

I know ya'll love pics, so here's some. I just washed it today.

Gotta load up with fuel. 12mpg and driving 75miles to the track, knocking out some bottom 10s and high 9 second pass, then 75 miles home.

WOW. That is impressive. I have to ask though. So were you just laying in bed one night and said, "hmmm...think I'll find the heaviest Ford car I know of and shove a junkyard Chevy in it and see if I can run 10's", LOL? It's just such an odd combo. Is there a build thread or where the hell did you come up with the idea for this Frankenstein machine?
Nicely done. I think it's kick ass. Congrats

That's awesome, do you have a build thread?
Not all in one place. no, lol. I had a buddy that does autobody work do the turbo hotside, and motor and trans mounts.

Then I did the rest pretty much. had a friend machine the apply pistons in the transmission for me and I assembled it in my garage. It's pretty much all stock parts with upped line pressure.

I took apart the motor and gapped all the rings to .028, then threw it back together with an LS6 cam and intake, china studs, LS1 gaskets, and Lunati .600 lift springs. She really likes to make boost when I got a lot of people in the car. It'll make 16-17 with me, throw 3 people in the ca and it'll make 19-20. LOL.

I haven't had it on the dyno yet, but based off the weight and 8th mile trap, it makes 750+ at the tires. I don't care about HP though, I just wanted a 9 driven to and from the track without any problems.

It's taken a little over a year and 3 motors to figure out the whole tuning thing. LOL. Good thing these motors are so cheap.

Well I blew up the nitrous and full bolt on 2V motor right after this pass:World's fastest stock bottom end Crown Vic - YouTube

Then I was about to go the built 2V route, and a friend of mine (LS owner) said "please don't buy that $3,000 built 2V motor, just trust me and go the turbo 5.3 route and I'll help you" that was a little less than two years ago, and the rest is history!

Oh, and thanks everybody!
