So I sold the Mach on friday & I FINALLY got my dream ride. Its a 2005 CTS-V with 51k miles, & in immaculate condition. Needless to say, I'm in love with this beast & as much as I loved my Mach, I'm honestly not missing it much anymore.

Its already tastefully modded. Has a cam (228/232 duration. 111 LSA, 612 intake/600 exhaust), Full B&B exhaust from the 1 3/4 longtubes to the 3" x pipe & catback, electric cutouts, eibach springs, QA1 adjustable shocks/struts, 3rd gen diff upgrade, anti hop axles, cradle bushings, custom poly motor mounts, LS7 clutch, uuc shifter, & tuned by Newtech. For a 3,800+ Lb car, man this thing scoots, & rides smoothly in the process LOL... Im in love for sure....

I don't have any new pics, because my DSLR is down, but here are a few pics & vids the previous owner sent me...

Really like those V's but your Mach rocked. The exhaust sounds awesome

Nice ride, I always liked your Mach but this is a great replacement. Can't wait to see more pictures of it.

Thanks guys. The Mach was great, but with the full suspension, it sucked to drive on the street. I was bored with it & it was time to move on, plus, I got tired of having 2 stangs I rarely drive. This car is soooooo comfy, & quick, I wanna get in & drive all day...

I loved the CTS-V since they first came out. Good luck with this bad boy. Looks great. Stock wheels ftw on these things

Thanks again guys.

Well I know the mach was a beautiful car, but would you rather have a car you liked to look at, but hated to drive, or would you rather have a car you LOVE to drive?

I'm not hating on stangs at all, I still have my 91 that I NEVER plan on selling, but drive this car, & then drive a Mach & tell me which car you would rather drive on a regular basis, or on a long trip...

I agree. The mach was very fun on short trips, but man oh man was the ride quality punishing. Mustangs with solid axles are not meant to be lowered more than 2", & mine was beyond that.To have the coolest "internet" stance on the stang, came at a major cost in ride comfort...

On another note, I can pile 3 buddies in this car & still have fun while riding plush... Oh yeah, & this car has less wheel gap than my stang did...

Ummmm, yes, my car had the entire maximum motorsports package under it... coilovers, tubular k member, panhard bar, etc... As much as I love MM's parts, that stuff made it ride worse than before. But like MM will tell you, ride quality is directly related to ride height, & if your stang is lower than 2" from stock, it will NEVER ride smooth like stock. But bad ride quality to one person will be good to another. Maybe I'm just getting old LOL?

Anyhow, I'm not trying to turn this into a Mustang bashing thread, I loved my Mach, & I love this car, just in a whole different way...

I always ask myself this. I don't hate driving the Cobra but it would be damn nice to have something fast AND comfortable.

Nice V man!

Do you mean 2nd gen rear?
Any pics of the rear? When I had mine there was talk about doing the swap but you'd have to move the gas tank, etc.

Thanks man... This is where I was at with the Mach, it was fun to drive, just very uncomfortable...

I thought he said 3rd gen rear, but I may be wrong, I will ask my buddy whom I purchased the car from & get back to u. I will try to get some pics up as well...

The cams/exhaust doesnt really match the V in my opinion.

You mean CAM right? IMO, that is the best thing about it, the fact that the car SHOULDN"T sound that way, but it does. Its really not that loud in person with the cutouts closed. Its about as loud as a mustang with an o/r X & Bassani's.

Love the exhaust!...def sounds bad ass, and the best part is its comming out of a cadillac:coolman:

My thoughts exactly!!! Thanks:beer:
