There is a gold diamond shaped tag on the gas tank area that shows the number of the model.
Also what color is the model when you find the number of it!, my guess is its Vibrant Red.

I have TEAL #282
I have Red #170
Got #77 in Red
Would like to have #3321 in Red.

They only made 3,000 of each color, so your out of luck there getting that number.
So is the packaging incorrect with the 3500 number?
I sit corrected, I just checked mine as well.
I was told over the phone from a person that they were only making 3K of each color.

Sorry for the late reply on this. The China factory misprinted the 1 of 3500. When they arrived here we had to make a small little assembly line and add the correction stickers "1 of 3000" to each box. It's possible that a sticker could have come off the box. Officially there are only being 3000 of each color produced by GMP. If you have anymore questions let me know on here or you can email me - [email protected] or call us 1-800-536-1637.
On a side note, I'm considering building a webpage registry for 1:18 Scale 1993 Cobras and Cobra Rs. Not sure how much interest this would generate but I'm open to comments on what collectors of 1:1 and 1:18 Cobras think - would it be of any interest?
