I have GMP Teal #668 and, as said before, am looking for Teal #629

At least I got a Teal one so I don't feel too bad.

Speedfreek: Don't forget the # of "total wrecks" are in excess of 30(?)% so
that could just about cover the difference of model underproduction.

Another idea.....if the Ford Cobra color/# isn't the same GMP color/#, the
tags on the gas tanks could be carefully taken off and traded? :shrug:

Teal #787 I'm kinda Glad they won't get to my number #4506 it would've been nice but I like the fact they are a limited build. Tis car is awesome. I love the floor mats. just wish they could make a sunroof hehehe :beer:

That is what I was getting at in my last post. GMP numbering these the same way Ford rolled them down the assembly line. You may get the numbered car you want, but not the right color.

They are making 1,000 of each color for a total of 3,000 cars.

So if you have a Cobra and its number is less than 1,000 in any color, you can get the car color and matching number model.

I just got off the phone with them. The Cobra R's are in the process of being made.

Interested in the little model car IF it is the same number and color, inside and out, etc. When someone posts the number of the little model car and the coloring is right......at that time will be VERY interested. Until then.....just be satisfied with the original window sticker, certificate, paperwork, etc...

Hey guys,

Just want to make sure you have the correct info. GMP is producing 3500 of each color with a total of 10,500 total 1993 Cobras in all. Each color is produced with it's own part # so that means that the Red will be numbered 1-3500, Teal 1-3500, and Black 1-3500. We'd love to be able to offer every Cobra owner the color of their car and # but we just simply cannot take on something like that with the manpower we have. If you guys have any other questions please feel free to ask.
