Melissa McCarthy's name being thrown around so much in association with this project already had me against it. Now with the director from The Heat - that movie was unwatchable and nothing more than 2 hours of Melissa McCarthy cussing. That's all it was.

This is just one giant cash grab that will never capture the real spirit and humor of the original films.

As a self proclaimed Ghostbusters superfan I am so, so disappointed.

IGN had some good ideas on how to make it work and not completely upset fans. They suggested setting in London instead of New York and use English actresses to play the Ghostbusters. I would be 100% okay with this.
