I've been trying to finalize my quote with grundy for over a week now without response. I'm about to give up.

Seems like Hagerty and Grundy have some issues, but so far Ive heard collectively better things about Hagerty. I got a "quote" from Gundy for my 2011 for $640. Not too shabby.

Chubb Insurance has been amazing for me and my wife. A little more expensive than others but no bullshit to deal with if you ever have an incident. They take care of you no matter what and offer everything you could ever want. We bundled everything from house, cars and umbrella into one package.

Stories like this are why we still use an agent. They manage it all, home, business, umbrella, cars over 3 different carriers (collector, personal, and business), makes it manageable. The "collector" insurance is Hagerty, and the price is in line when comparing to a friend who recently shopped for a rare mustang he just bought.
