Im going to buy 15x10 weld prostars for my 96 cobra and am wodering If anyone has done it ? what do i need to do ? 28" tall tires backspacing is 6.5 If anyone here has done it any tips

Depending on the tire size you'll probably have to roll the fender lips, ditch the quad shocks, and switch to GT rear brakes as the Cobra ones won't clear a 15x10 w/ 6.5" BS.
and beat the inner wheel house wells some. specially to fit the 28inch
oh really should I just go with 15x8s then
yes and with 5.5 back spacingall you need to do is lightly grind the caliper a hair only takes a few minutes per side i did mine last week. a 275/50/15 is plenty which is 26 in tall or 275/60 which is 28
i mean how fast are you rolling through the traps and what kind of power is your car making?
I have 15x10 prostars 6.5BS and I use a two 1/4" spacers on each one no grinding or modding needed. Right now I have 275/50/15 MT mounted on them. Car was filthy I got caught in some rain not a fun drive home.
