Hey guys,

We are back at it again with another Gen 3 2.9L Whipple Supercharger install and tune on a S550 Mustang GT. We are excited to share the results with you all. We have already installed several of these superchargers on S550 cars and they have been making solid numbers on the dyno using the stock TB. This customer however, upgraded to the 132mm billet throttle body and we were very pleased with the results. This car made 745 whp and 552 tq on 93 octane running the 3.75 pulley.

Either would help in the torque dept. E85 because of the extra timing. Pulley brings more boost on way earlier.

On my 2.9 with a 3.75 pulley, Wot from 2500 or so would give me 12-13 psi and it would crawl to 15 by 4K or so. With a 2.9 upper pulley I get 10psi at half throttle just passing someone on the freeway.

Not sure it the motor or the fuel is the limiting factor in the case of the 550 here.

Here is a quick comparison of this S550 with another Auto S550 that we did with the same gen 3 2.9L supercharger set up and mods without the 132mm TB. As you can see the throttle body makes a pretty big difference compared to the stock one.

Green: Gen 3 2.9L Whipple with stock TB
Blue: Gen 3 2.9L Whipple with 132mm TB
