I still have my Marantz 2265B receiver, Pioneer PL-S50 turntable and HPM-100 speakers, from the 70s.

They were setup in my Son's room after he moved out and I would go in to listen to albums every once in a while.

Then he moved back in and I have not had the opportunity for more than a year.

That is a sweet sounding setup right there :rockon:

Last year I upgraded my Thoren TD 145 turntable to a Micro Seiki DD5E with a Stanton 980LZS MM cartridge, this table and cartridge kicks ass and cost me less than $600 on eBay; new, back in the early 1980's, this set-up would have cost me apx. $1300.

"Darkside of the Moon"...damn...a real "smoker" from my high school "gradiation" year. Black light posters and all. I get the munchies just thinking about it. 50 plus albums in plastic egg crates collecting mildew in the basement...dare we go back in time? Zepplin, Stones, Sabbath, Purple, Hendrix, Mountain, Trower, Santana, Hendrix...not a turntable in sight.
