I cringe when I see houses like that in Florida. My house was $340k and is nowhere near as nice as your garage is. Beautiful house and good luck with sale!

I would be living in constant fear of having to abandon the house and watch it wash out to sea on the news.

Ive lived here for 40+ years on the barrier islands and NEVER even close to a flood situation. We are actually pretty high above sea level. During the 04-05 hurricanes over on the mainland had some flooding in some low areas. Beachside is awesome! New house is right down the road.

That was my first thought/fear as well. Google Earth says it's only 6-7 ft above sea level.

Not that big of a deal! I think the tallest point in FL is that globe thing at Epcot center!

Lived in FL for years. I see more flooding here in the midwest.

Sad thing is that house would probably have sold for between $750k-$1MM back in '06-'07.

Damn near the whole east coast is just a few feet above sea level yet every year you hear about flooding in the mid west. :shrug:
