Exactly the point I was going to bring up. Good races nonetheless.
You would think the hard top would have won even with the passenger...being that the vert is a few hundred lbs heavier to begin with.
I think that the 3.73s vs 3.27s would make a bigger difference than having a passenger. Unless he was like 250+. How heavy was the camera guy?
i think both of them are actually members here too. definatly cud tell the difference between the passenger being in each one

But yea, the gearing is a big factor too.
You don't see the big bubble on the backside of it during the race? Happens to verts a LOT. Had mine fixed the instant it started happening. His car does look awesome tho for suree.

every 100 pounds takes a tenth of a second off ur 1/4 mile time. thats why having a passenger in the car made a difference

Coupe weighs 3665 lbs. and the convertible weighs 3780 lbs. 115 lb. difference. Not a huge difference when you consider how easy it is to shed extra pounds.

They do, however both cars had a solid axle swap. Im sure he just left the factory gears in the solid.
Am I the only one who noticed they have BOTH of there plates AND the red cobras drivers face in that vid, also both cars are customized so it not like they could pass off the line of "it must have been some other car". Good vid for sure but just seems like an easy win for any cop that might know where they live etc.
