Bruce thank you for only making it 5% off or else I would of been ordering. Once I get tuned I planned on doing the whole IRS kit, gotta spend money on the family this month....

 Come on man, this is the 2nd or 34rd time you've done this to Bruce.

When 1 customer of his complains, then you MIGHT have a leg to stand on. Until then, let the man do what he does best. He has done nothing but state facts and his customers back them up continually.

Answer this please:

Never ridden in a IRS car with his kit. Don't have to.
I have nothing against his kit, just his self marketing in every thread that involves a suspension question, specially if it's IRS vs SRA.
I'm doing the exact same thing he's doing, nothing more, nothing less.

So you have no knowledge or real world experience with an upgraded IRS? Got it

Actually you are doing much much less than him, do some research behind his kit. If you have a problem with his posts on this site you might want to take it up with the owner of the site. You probably didnt notice that his username is bolded and he has quite a bit to do with the site you're bashing him on and his product that you think you more know about

Theres a reason youll find the same people commenting on mods over and over in every thread. Its because they have experience with what works and what doesnt. I would love for you to give your opinion to one of his customers

Double-damn...I should of negotiated a percentage before I took my guess.

Nice IRS pic by the way...it's like porn for us Cobra IRS lovers. Nice rack...so to speak. Would have another one a bit further back? Could be photoshopped as a reference to ID all the parts and bushings.

I'll see what I can do. I'm pretty handy with PhotoSuite and PowerPoint (Death by Viewgraph - the Army Way)...:lol1:

I just picked up the IRS kit from Bruce for my 03 IRS I am swapping in. His trendy and hip marketing is what sold me on the kit.

:)

So it's not necessary to personally review a product before discounting it?? I had an '03 GT that I swapped an IRS into. Even without Bruce's kit, the IRS handled and rode 100x better on the street in near stock form. I would have loved to have this kit in mine but I couldn't afford it at the time. I've got a solid rear '98 now and I'm already thinking about swapping in an IRS.

You obviously have something against Bruce and his company if you keep talking shit in his threads. He is marketing his product based on his years and thousands of miles of on-track and racing experience. He has taken what Ford Engineers designed and made it much better for handling the power and stresses that the IRS is under due to the power we've all added to our cars.

You are just a troll who can't get over the fact that an IRS in a Mustang works and works very well. Please GTFO.

spend around 800 bucks on everything bruce has to offer to have fords shortcomings taken care of in the irs, minor expense, all stock bushings need replacing sooner than later in any event, irs or solid. there is no comparison in any other kit like the one bruce has developed for the irs. i really like my 04cobra irs.
now on the other hand on my gt500 its gonna take thousands of dollars to cure fords shortcomings in the rear solid axle suspension, this thing hops worse than the irs in stock form and handles like crap. i am really dissapointed i bought a gt500, its really a piece of crap in my eyes. itss a huge heavy cruise ship hopping like a bunny in the easter parade, i did hit 182mph in it though, only 166 in the cobra irs so far

My wife and I were on the island last spring for vacation and I can't remember anywhere with a straight road long enough to get up to those speeds...:lol1:

Setting the driveline angle in a Cobra. It seems this operation is confusing. I've always received many questions regarding this. This is accomplished by raising or lowering the front differential mounts because the transmission location is pretty much fixed.

This link, found on our site, gives you a photographic explanation of how to measure the driveline angles. Remember, as you adjust the pitch of the nose of the differential, you also change the front angle. So the front needs to be rechecked every time the differential is changed.

FTBR Setting Pinion Angle

There also have been a few inquiries from people wondering where all of these bushings actually go on their IRS. We've developed a diagram to show that as well.

Thank you to everyone that posted pictures of your IRS assemblies! :-D

FTBR IRS Bushing Locations

Hope that helps.

Bruce a little backgroung and few questions-

I have a 93 coupe getting- 03 motors, Viper 6spd trans, and 03 IRS and going to run H&R sport springs.

What about your kit is better than MM's kit? Would like some detail or link to read whats seperates your kit from their's, and not just testimonials.

Do you have a shop in Houston, TX you recommend to install? I contacted a few and got if'y responses regarding install. Seems unfimilar with product even through they deal with 03-04 Cobra's/Mustangs/Shelby’s often- Fastlane Performance in Houston, TX.

Would do myself, but dont have some of the tools needed to do install in cradle and a-arms.

Bear with me as this is my first build and suspension is my least interested area.

Btw bruce sending those tools back -- finally :) whats it been 7 months now. Will be sent out asap on monday once Im back in town.

I also have some mixed feelings about the kit right now, but cant make a proper appraisal until weather warms up and also try dr's.

I think a majority of most people's questions can be answered in the FAQ listed on our web site:

FTBR Frequently Asked Questions

including the cost comparison and quality of manufacture to the MM kit.

I would think Houston Performance should be able to take care of you for the install. If they have any questions or concerns they should contact me.

Depending on numerous factors, most of which are listed in the FAQ, there are still some things can can contribute to varrying amounts of wheel hop. Verts are a particular problem, as are vehicles without FLSFC's, some tires will hop on any vehicle particularly in cold weather. Shoot me a PM with your specifics and I'll privide some suggestions.

Thanks Bruce, I will be getting once I get a little more cash saved up. Just spent $500 have the viper trans freshened up prior to putting in the car. I have $400, but need to sell my extra Eaton blower then I can order.

I will contact Houston Performace, as I have used them in the past. Just forgot to call them when calling shops and asking.
