Fuel Pump Issue

I'm experiencing a problem where the fuel pump does not prime on start up. If I go to the engine bay, pull the fuse and put it back in the fuel pump will prime when I turn the key on again and the car will start. I didn't have a problem with the pump shutting off while driving until the other day, I was running the car pretty hard and the fuel pump cut out. Car only has 18k miles.

Any suggestions?

If a new fuel pump relay doesn't fix it give some more details like mods and fuel pumps etc. If your pumps are to big and over loading the FPDM it'll over heat when running the car hard and go into thermal shutdown and cause the fuel pumps to shut off.
